Tonight’s the night ya’ll…

I’m hosting a wonderful birthday party for my lovely husband.

And this means (you know it), Carrot Cake!

If I can walk way from this temptation, I can do the rest of this month in a most beast like fashion.

Did I mention there would also be pizza?

Many times we take on huge life challenges without knowing the price.

What will this new belief or life management require of me?

What will I need to give up or modify? What will I no longer tolerate?

Here’s the deal folks.

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

What story am I telling myself about health and what needs to be done to help myself and 10,000 black men to reach optimal health?

According to recently publsihed definition “Optimal health is your complete physical, emotional, and relational well-being. It’s not just the absence or prevention of disease but taking an active role in the vitality of those parts that make up your whole.”

Being suger free for one month is taking an active role in claiming my right to health.

What will you do to claim a life of well being?
